Weibo tipster @Kjuma has managed to get photos of the packaging and a view of a working model of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 which he claims runs a Mediatek Helio X10 chip.
Xiaomi’s next phone launch looks like it will be the 2nd generation Xiaomi Redmi Note. The original Redmi Note has been around for a very long while now and we are all eager to see what the company have in store for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
Well if Weibo tipster @Kjuma is to be believed (and so far he is a good source) the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will feature a metal body and Mediatek Helio X10 8 core chipset. The details come after the smartphone tipster posted an image of a working Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and its packaging on Weibo.
From TENAA documents we also know the Redmi Note 2 will have 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, dual SIM support, a 5.5-inch FHD display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel from and MIUI based on Android 5.0.
It seems likely that Xiaomi will keep the cost of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 low too and we will probably see the phone launch in all international Xiaomi launch areas. Keep posted for more details of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
