Doogee F3 Pro gets its starring role in scratch test video plus more

doogee f3 pro

Doogee have been hyping up the Doogee F3 Pro for weeks, now we finally see some video of the phone and the packaging the device will ship in.

With 3GB RAM, Android 5.1, MT6753 octacore chipset and the option to choose wooden back covers, the Doogee F3 is one of the more intriguing Doogee phone we have seen in a very long while. It also happens to be one of the few Chinese “flagship” phones that has a screen size of 5-inch as opposed to 5.5-inch.

As the launch date for the phone draws closer the Doogee team have put together a few presentation videos to show off some of the phones features. Below we have videos including scratch tests performed on the Corning Gorilla Glass display, wood and bamboo presentations and a video showing the voice activation feature of the phone.

Pricing for the Doogee F3 will start at just $149.99 for the lower spec F3, the Pro model will start at $159.99 while a Pro with wood rear panel will be $169.99.

I got the Huawei P8, which has about 2600mah, and i can get through the day with ease. most of the time i have like 40% left. And it has EMUI, this looks more stock so it should be better

lol no, just because a phone has stock android at surface, it doesn’t mean that it won’t guzzle power. and why should anyone even take the risk when something better is out there, in droves.

they tried to be samsung. dream on doogee.

That is true. But if they optimize it good enough, and dont put over an interface like (ugly) EMUI, it should be good for a day of use. I can get 4-5 hours of screen on time now, with 2600mAh. depends on other things too, but it should hold a day.

Data always on, Bluetooth on (Smartwatch with Android Wear), NFC off, Screen most bright (not auto), Wifi always on (connected most of the time). Sometimes a bit of CoC, and Whatsapp Web on the whole day at work. (which connects via the phone). And Auto-sync for Gmail, per hour check for personal account (IMAP)

Well i cant argue with that, Huawei are masters with battery life. So it must be fully optimized.

Like with Valencia 2? It was meant to have 2200 (all specs and official docs say so), too. Appeared it actually has 1800 …

Good looking 5″ phone with a nice price. Looking forward to your review GizChina. Any idea if/when you will receive the phone? The Y100 Pro looked good as well but turned out to be a disappointment … hoping this one will do better.

Is limited edition with better SoC still probable, or is that finished story already? If it’s the former, any info on when it should be announced?

Hi there, I pre-ordered a ‘Colormix’ version assuming it was the one with ebony back cover as was shown in the product image, but today I heard that the ebony backcover was not included and should be purchased seperately. Now I am wondering what ‘Colormix’ actually mean (how will it look) and where to buy the Ebony back cover seperately?
