Slim and business like, this is the Elephone M2

Another upcoming release from Elephone. The Elephone M2 will be a designer phone aimed at business uses or those wanting a little more flash for their cash.

It’s not like Elephone to reveal their full plans way way ahead of a launch, but this has just happened with the press images of the Elephone M2. Instead of giving us the whole specification run down for the phone they have played their cards close to their chest and only told us the bare minimum.

Gizchina News of the week

The Elephone M2 will have a 5.5-inch display, and Mediatek MT6753 chipset with an estimated release date of some time in September. The focus of the M2 is build quality and design, and the company have promised to build an elegant metalic device at a cost effective price.

Images don’t give us any other clues other than the phone looks a little like a Huawei and may have a fingerprint scanner on a physical home button.

I actually quite like the logo. Out of all the smaller Chinese brands I am OK with the elephone and umi logo. Really dislike the logo of the likes of ulephone, black view, gionee, Doogie which just print the name in full across the back.

“It’s not like Elephone to reveal their full plans way way ahead of a launch” – are we talking about the same Elephone? Don’t expect to see anything before Christmas!

Yea that line baffles me as well. If we were talking about Xiaomi than yes, but Elefone reveals phones 6 months before launch. Some never launch.

I can’t speak to their accessories. But when it comes to their phones Xiaomi is usually very tight lipped especially compared to Elephone.

totally agree. I bought the P6000 with prommising OTA lollipop.
Strategy of elephone = countering other brands with not existing phones but drawings to hold of customers to buy their phones but launch them 6 months far.
But no support anymore on launched phones and make all lies

I have always been a fan of the Huawei styling so I think this looks very good, but too bad it is an Elephone…

I guess Elephone will pay for bussiness if they will ever want to see it in their hands.

            you’re right, it’s not white.

I think it’s more of a light gold color to match that of the P8, its obvious that was their inspiration.
