Elephone has tied up with international phone vendor iberry to offer the current Elephone flag bearer, the P8000 in India.
The phone will be sold as the Auxus Prime P8000 in the country. If you aren’t aware, Auxus is a lineup of phones from iberry. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time we’re hearing the two names in the same line. iberry had previously launched the Auxus Note 5.5 which was essentially an Elephone P2000 rebrand.
The difference this time is only in the fact that both companies are more transparent about the arrangement.
Elephone even released an official statement:
We are very glad to have an OEM collaboration with Auxus for India market and we look forward to bringing in more products for Indian customers to meet their demand in terms of specifications and after-sales support

The Auxus Prime P8000 will have support for network bands which are used in India and which may have been missing from the Elephone version of the P8000. Like almost every other new entrant in the Indian smartphone market, the Auxus Prime P8000 will sell online-only, Snapdeal.com in this case.
We have the P8000 in shipment as we speak, and the phone should be at the office within a couple of weeks.
