Ulefone announce full specs of their Ulefone Paris smartphone

ulefone paris

Ulefone have finally announced some hardware details for the Ulefone Paris smartphone, a device for fans of smaller 5-inch phones.

The 5.5-inch Ulefone BeTouch 2 still sits at the top of the Ulefone range, but what if you want something a little smaller and easier to handle than the 5.5-inch flagship? Ulefone have realised the need of a smaller phone and so have announced the Ulefone Paris with smaller form factor.

A 5-inch 1080 720p HD display, with alloy and glass construction are the major stand out points of the Ulefone Paris In addition Ulefone have included LED notification, 5 mega-pixel front camera and 13 mega-pixel rear.

Gizchina News of the week

Originally the phone was meant to have a powerful Mediatek MT6752 chipset on board, but those plans were changed to a more power efficient MT6753 processor and 2GB RAM, Ulefone say this allowed them to use a smaller 2250Ah battery and thinner body while retaining battery life.

We are still waiting on the Paris retail cost, but we don’t expect the device will cost to much once it is available to buy.

Guess we are talking about MT6753 or did I miss some point ?

Allowed them to use smaller and thinner body… I think they meant “use less money”. I wish they would use at least 3000mah battery (even with a bit thicker body). Anyway I like the direction of a 5″ screen.

I also like the 5″, but 2200 wont even last a day of semi-heavy use.

        It’s 720P, so i guess it’s quite enough, and MTK6753 is not so energy-consuming.

    5.5″ screen with 2200mAh? Pass.

Try reading the article again, it’s a 5″ screen with a 2250mAh battery. I do myself however prefer a slightly thicker phone with a bigger battery.

It’s a good looking device though and its edges remind me of the iPhone 6. I’ll be looking forward to the price and review. We need more 5-inchers!

So what can we expect soon? Doogee F3, Bluboo Xtouch, Blackview Omega, Zopo Speed 7, iOcean X9 (will it eve be released?). In a more distant future Lenovo Vibe X3. Did I miss something interesting to look forward?

I would gladly add the 4.7-inch Huawei Mate 7 mini to that list. (And in any case it would submerge from obliviousness: the ‘two year in a row Vapor Ware Award Winner’ JiaYu S4.)

I’m afraid the 4,7″ Huawei will not come neither. The information was probably a mistake…

I was hoping to replace my G5S with JiaYu S4 too. That’s probably also not gonna happen. 🙁

again you are not reading what you wrote?

Hi, what a phone would use 2250Ah battery? Does Ulefone Paris packs a nuclear battery?

And according to Ulefone Blog, the phone is 5-inch 720P, do you know what’s the difference between “HD” and “Full HD”. Hi Ying Hua, in every piece of news written by you, i can find some mistakes. Do you really respect your job? http://blog.ulefone.com/ulefone-paris-will-be-handy-with-balanced-components/

720P would be fine. I like to play games, and i think MTK6753 is enough to drive an HD display. MTK6753 is not good for FHD, even MTK6752, with better speed, is not capable enough for 1080P.

6752 has no issues with 1080p…

Every writer makes mistakes even some of the most famous ones. The problem is this site needs an editor to verify all these articles before they are published. With a good editor 99% of the little errors would be found and corrected.

        August 20, 2015

I would happily do that as every piece generally has at least 1 error! Lol

It seems like they just post their articles here once they finish and there is no review process. That works on smaller tech sites but this one is quickly becoming one of the bigger ones in Asia.
