If you are the type of person who likes to pick up a book and not put it down until read then the dual screen Oukitel U6 with e-ink display should impress.
Oukitel join the growing number of Chinese smartphone makers who are building dual screen phones. There model is the Oukitel U6 and while we haven’t seen it first hand, real photos of the phone have been posted already.
The U6 comes with a front 5-inch 1280 x 720 display from usually phone features, gaming, and movies, but a rear 4.7-inch e-ink panel takes over from the front when it comes to reading.

Like the Yotaphone, the idea is the e-ink panel on the rear of the phone will use less energy than the main screen and thus ensuring a longer battery life.
Ouktiel are claiming that their testing of the Oukitel U6 has come to the conclusion that the e-ink panel can give as much as 120 hours of reading time from a single charge with a standby time of 2 days. It still remains to be seen if dual screen phones will prove to be popular, but at least there will be a couple of interesting options to choose from if you are in the market.
