Direct to customer sales is the future of Chinese phone sales, and Huawei might finally be launching such a sales model outside of China to customer s in the UK and Europe.
According to reports today, Huawei are expected to announce the launch of it’s own Vmall online store for UK and European customers. The store is already online in China and allows Chinese customers to buy phones direct to cut out the middle man. A similar in service would mean European Huawei, or Honor, buyers will be able to save money and buy their phones right from the manufacturer.
Apparently the first phone to hit the store will be the rather excellent Huawei Honor 7. The rumour continues suggesting that Huawei might launch the Honor 7 for a limited special offer price of less than £200. No details on how many phones will be available in the sale, but expect prices to eventually rise by around 20-40% once the sale finishes.
The Huawei Honor 7 is a sleek phone with styling very close to the larger Mate 7. The phone comes in grey, gold or silver and boasts a rear fingerprint scanner, 20 mega-pixel Sony camera and all the usual flagship functions.
Hmmmmm , I love gold! My prrecious…..
Kinda ironic to see a ‘middle man’ having its advertising banner shown right in the middle of this article.
