Malaysia is Elephone’s next stop

Elephone may have built an image that it’ll quickly want to get rid of, but there’s no denying the fact that the OEM is growing at breakneck speed.

There’s a lot of different smartphone lineups that they have under their belt, the newest being the Elephone Q, the tiny little smartphone.

Only recently did Elephone announce their plans for India (where they’ve tied up with iberry), and there’s more news already.

The Chinese OEM posted via social media that the company would now be entering the Malaysian market via (sic) Lazada, Lelong, Groupon, Logon, 11 Street, Elephone.my, Mudah.my, Gemfive, Ensogo.

Elephone say that they’ll be offering the P8000, the upcoming Vowney and their new Trunk via these webstores. There’s no timeline mentioned yet, however.

Honestly I’m a little surprised by how fast Elephone has been expanding lately. If you missed it, Elephone is also the firm behind the marketing of Lenovo’s ZUK, which came as another surprise.
