The Cyanogen OS running ZUK Z1 from Lenovo’s latest venture will be officially avaialble to buy through shop.gizchina.com from mid September!
Where as other online stores will be buying up Chinese stock of the ZUK Z1 which runs ZUI and lacks native Google support, Shop.GizChina.com have teamed up with ZUK international to sell the internatoinal version of the phone with Cyanogen OS.
The ZUK Z1 is the first phone from Lenovo backed start-up ZUK and features a 5.5-inch 1080 display, 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 801 processor, upon which runs Cyanogen OS. Cyanogen and ZUK are official partners for the ZUK Z1 meaning that updates and additional features will all be handled by Cyanogen OS. CM on the ZUK Z1 will still remain open source, but having Cyanogen be an official partner should mean fast OTA and even a quick update to Android M once available.
CM is only part of the feature highlight of the ZUK Z1 though. The phone is also one of the first devices to ship with USB Type C 3.0 for fast data transfer, quick charging and even audio. The Z1 also boasts a huge 4100mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, dual SIM LTE and outstanding audio quality.
Pre-orders of the ZUK Z1 will begin on 10th September from our EU warehouse only, with orders being handled around the 25th September.

for now yes
Thanks Andi. But just one more thing please if I may, any plans to stock any of the QIKU phones?
We will have to test one to see if it is anygood first
Thanks
Any chance you’ll stock the Gionee E8 when it comes out?
Any idea on the price?
Hi Andi, I have the Chinese model with zui. Do you still have your test unit running zui for the review? I have installed nova launcher and have tried to change the wallpaper however it seems that the zui interface prevents the wallpaper from being displayed properly – no matter which you pick they all end up being blurry. Have you managed to change it?
Hi Andi, please help me answer this question. I have ordered LeTV le 1 from gizshop and it is my second order from the shop in this month alone. I am still awaiting delivery, however, I have seen a video on YouTube some guy saying if you install google services on LeTV phone every time there was an update all google services will uninstall and then you will have to reinstall all the google services again after updating is there any truth in this? Am aware you said you have been using this phone fairly regularly. Pls help
No difference except the OS in the international version? Why this constant problems of adding LTE band 20 for some vendors…
i like so much phones today, but all i want have no FDD Band 20 inside 🙁
internatoinal version
You have conveniently missed off what the price will be.
Will the bands be the same or will there be a better coverage on this one?
is there a notification light on international version?
so what of the news I’ve read in a couple articles that the international Zuk will have the amazon app store and not google play? i find it hard to believe, but I understand cyanogen might be trying to separate from google services.
any confirmation on this?

They signed a partnership with Amazon but there was never official word if that was to sell their phones on Amazon or to use the Amazon services. Another smartphone maker Blu, a US based company that sells phones made by Gionee, entered into a deal with both CM and Amazon to sell a phone shipping with Amazon Store.
Official…nice
hey that is a great news! and the price should be as anywhere else US299….
I see US319 that is US20 dearer then anywhere else. How about shipping, is that free?
thanks
When you say “Officially” one would expect the Official retail price too. but i guess 320 is a fair price
it is, but only if the shipping is free. Some trust and good reputation worth 20 bucks….
good news
