When Blackview aren’t testing their latest rugged phone in a pot of paint they can be found working on the stunning Blackview BV9000 with 2K display and MT6795 chipset! Here are the first photos.
Coming in October the Blackview BV9000 is the smartphone which will finally show the world what Blackview is all about. For the past 12 months we have heard the name Blackview and seen a few of their phones, but nothing compares to what the company have in store for next month!
At this stage we don’t know if the final name of the new Blackview is BV9000 or if this is simply just an internal codename, but these photos show us the final design and we have some juicy specifications to get your heart racing.
Starting the Blackview BV9000 in the right direction is a fingerprint scanner. This feature is standard on most top of the range Chinese phones this year, and usually we find the scanner either on the rear of the phone or located in a physical button under the display. In the case of the Blackview BV9000 though we have a fingerprint scanner under the display itself! It is a feature that many phone maker have talked about but it is Blackview who could be one of the first to debut the technology.
Gizchina News of the week
Speaking of the display, it is a full 2K panel of unknown size, however we are guessing somewhere around 5.7-6-inch. In the details we have received the BV9000 is described as a borderless phone, but we think we will see some sort of bezel no matter how narrow it may end up be.
Our details don’t mention what the body is made of but do say that a Mediatek MT6795 chipset will power the phone with 4GB RAM and at least 32GB internal memory (there will also be a 64GB option). Front camera is a Sony 8 mega-pixel sensor while the rear is an impressive Sony IMX230 20 mega-pixel sensor.
The specifications alone are enough to bring back thoughts of the latest Zopo phone we spied in leaked photos yesterday.
Pricing hasn’t been confirmed but we don’t imagine the BV9000 is going to be especially cheap with that level of hardware, but we can expect a reasonable RRP when compared to international phone brands.
Blackview also have their Alife P1 Pro on sale right now which features a 5.5-inch 1080 display, and fingerprint scanner for those of you wanting an affordable mid-range device.
