OxygenOS 2.0.2 for OnePlus 2 now seeding

oneplus 2 review

OxygenOS 2.0.2 for the OnePlus 2 will roll out via OTA today. The update aims to fix bugs and bring some performance improvements to the OnePlus 2.

There have been a few issues with the home button of the OnePlus 2 that users (including the GizChina staff) have been facing. While it can be attributed to grounding, I also believe the sporadic nature of the home button has to do with the hardware controller. The new update aims to fix that, and improve the accuracy of the fingerprint scanner (which for me has been fairly accurate).

The OnePlus 2 also has a very confusing camera UI, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels so. The new update also promises to fix that, which should be really good for those who take a lot of pictures (which you should because the OnePlus 2 has a brilliant camera).

Besides that, OnePlus also promise an update to Oxygen 2.1 in the middle of this month, which means you can expect a major-ish update coming to your OnePlus 2’s in a couple of weeks.

As usual, before attempting to upgrade, ensure your phone has enough battery and is connected to a stable WiFi network.
