After all the years of scam artists and conners, one can now safely buy from a tonne of different sellers in China. You could choose a seller from a marketplace or simply purchase from one of the many one-off shops.
Gearbest is a store that has, of late, gained a lot of traction. The company has set up a sister site — VolumeBest — where business buyers, i.e., bulk buyers can make purchases.
Now since it is a site especially for bulk buyers, prices are lower than retail but there’s an MOQ — minimum order quantity — that you need to fulfill in order to get the products at the mentioned prices. Fortunately though, for people new to trade, there are products with MOQs of as low as 2 units/order.
The idea is interesting, and can take off if implemented well. They’re also holding a promotional activity where new registrants can win hampers, you can check it out here.
