Elephone are taking another crack at the smartwatch market with the elegant Ele Watch coming soon.
The all new Ele Watch is on the way but what it will offer in terms of features, build and OS all remain a mystery. All that is currently known about the new wearable is that Elephone aim to disrupt the Chinese wearable market by targeting price and quality.
While the hardware remains a mystery, the render supplied to us does show off a few key elements of the design.
Gizchina News of the week
From the design the Ele Watch has a full round touch screen, so we are looking at a watch that is more similar to the Huawei Watch than the Moto 360 range. The body again is Huawei like and looks like it might be made of stainless steel with a matching wrist strap. We assume the strap will be replaceable and leather options can be used instead.
A hear monitor is on the rear of the watch so expect the full compliment of exercise and health monitors and apps on the watch too.
Over the past few months we have seen Chinese smartwatches come in at prices as low as $25.99, but looking at the new Elephone design we might be looking at something a little costlier than most.
I have to say that it does look nice. They should not mess this up with poor software and build quality.
oh, you know they will. i agree, render looks excellent. real life will be a disappointment, unfortunately
as the p7000 has not a good quality, i think they will do better in the future,i still trust elephone, hope they can give us a good quality products
