OnePlus 2 could be made available via Snapdeal.com too

Online purchases of the OnePlus 2 in India are restricted to Amazon for now, but according to what’s been going on lately between OnePlus and Snapdeal bosses in the country, it appears as though the second OnePlus phone might well be available via Snapdeal.com in the neat future.

Snapdeal.com is also the partner of Yu Televentures for their new Yu Yunique smartphone, and is among the top 3 e-commerce retail outlets in India.

Before assuming anything else, let me also tell you that you’ll still require an India-specific invite before attempting to purchase the device. Gizmodo India notes that while this will give buyers some added flexibility, it will not result in a wider invite rollout, i.e., the number of invites being sent out will still be the same.

Please note a final word from OnePlus/Snapdeal is still pending, and we should get to know the nitty gritties by tomorrow. So if you’re more comfortable purchasing from Snapdeal.com than Amazon, and are waiting to get yourself a OnePlus 2, stay tuned. Meanwhile, check out our review of the phone!
