OnePlus teases leather pants with embroidered logo! (Or not)

After apologising to fans for not doing the greatest job of the OnePlus 2 launch, OnePlus have now started to tease a luxury product of some description.

If you are one of the millions people who have signed up to get a OnePlus 2 invite and still not received one yet, then news of a new teased product might rub you up the wrong way.

The above teaser reading “A bit of welcome luxury” was teased earlier this evening on the OnePlus Google+ account and already fans and media are jumping to conclusions as to what it might be. Behind the text the texture of the background looks like leather, and the red and white appears to be the lower part of an embroidered OnePlus logo.

My guess is that we will either see a pair of leather OnePlus trousers or they are going to launch a luxury cover for the OnePlus 2. It might seem like a silly item to tease, but OnePlus do thrive on hype and they have teased silly things in the past (remember their drone?).

So we have some sort of accessory to look forward too, but how many customers actually have a OnePlus 2 to wrap up in an embroiled cover?

Oh boy, those guys over OnePlus don’t know how to run a company and how to make the right partnerships. Why would someone who buys a cheap “flagship” would need a luxury and overpriced leather case?
Do they even know what’s their target demographics because Im in my late 20’s and I would never buy a leather case for myself.
