Yu Jyuice power banks launched in 5000mAh and 10000mAh flavours

India based Micromax subsidiary has announced its first couple of power banks under the Yu Jyuice series in 5000mAh and 10000mAh versions.

Yu recently was in the news for the announcement of its newest phone, the budget Yu Yunique. Budget power banks from Xiaomi currently rule the roost, which is something Yu will like to see changed after this announcement.

The Yu Jyuice power banks are priced competitively at 699 INR (US$10.5) and 1099 INR (US$16.7) for the 5k mAh and 10k mAh versions. Both will sell exclusively via Snapdeal.com, which happens to be Yu’s new retail partner.

The 5000mAh version of the Jyuice comes with a single USB port, and gives an output of 5V/2.1A. Its elder sibling features two USB ports, and is capable of 5V/2.4A output.

While the 5000mAh variant measuresĀ 139 x 70 x 7.9mm, the 1000mAh version isĀ 139 x 70 x 12.5mm, i.e., it is the same footprint, but thicker.

The power banks come with 3 LEDs which indicate the amount of charge left in them.
