LeTV’s LeMall launching internationally sooner rather than later

Have you tried entering the official LeTV LeMall recently from a non Chinese IP? If not give it a try now because this looks interesting!

There is a lot of interesting LeTV news today it all started with news that the Chinese brand intend to enter the Indian smartphone market, and is now being followed up with the release of new smart TV’s and now this.

For those of you who had visited the Chinese LeTV LeMall in the past from a non Chinese IP you will have been greeted with the original Chinese site and have the opportunity to browse through the phones, TV’s and numerous accessories they offer. If you head over their now all that access has been blocked!

It sounds like a bummer on the surface, but the good news is that none Chinese IP’s are redirected to an international splash page. The only details on the page are that LeMall have future plans to expand outside of China. No specifics are given, but you have the option to sign up for email alerts to get news direct from the company.

We believe that LeTV will first launch their accessories to international markets such as headphones, VR goggle etc to test the water. It’s also highly likely that we will see the new LeTV 4K box offered internationally which would tie in nicely with a new global streaming service (similar to Netflix) that has also been hinted at.

So far I have been impressed with LeTV, their speed of growth and ambitious plans, but I hope they haven’t bitten off more than they can chew. I also hope that the speed of their growth won’t effect the quality of their service and products. Let’s see what the future has in store.

A good news for those who think LeTV offers great value for money like I do.
Been wanting a phone with the screen size around 6.3 inches and top spec and nothing come close but the Le Max…
When will you post the review of LeTV Le Max, Andy? I’ve been waiting for it for weeks!!! I suppose the performance is not very good as you have mentioned butI’ve been wondering whether things improved after software updates or sth.

Please put the review up soon if you have time. 🙂

I received my Letv max 3 days ago and it is a great experience.
Perfect for the gamer on the go and is really a great all around device.

It’s good to see they will be selling it direct so everyone can buy it.

Battery life is great and I’m loving the adjustable color profiles and amazingly clear audio. I am a heavy user and I can get about 5 hours of constant screen on time while gaming. The note 4 only got about 2/3rds of that running the same game.

I find myself downloading games that I have already beaten just to experience them on this bright detailed screen.

It’s like having a colourful magazine you can put in your pocket.

Pictures bring out some amazing details in low light or in direct sun and can take hundreds without any noticeable delay.

The only negative points I have is about the default launcher which you can simply replace and fully integrate in the settings.

I was worried about the Snapdragon 810 chipset but there is no throttling even after an hour of gameplay with the most demanding games.

For a time I was going to buy the Note 5 and I am really glad I didn’t.
My next phone is also going to be an Letv device if they keep this up.
