Everyone’s talking about the mid-range Xiaomi Mi 4c which broke cover a couple or so days back. If you’ve been following the young yet popular smartphone company, you’ll know they still have a lot to come this year.
Their annual Mi series flagship is due for a launch, so is their Mi Pad series of tablets. There’s only one Mi Pad so far, which launched last year in May. So, clearly, there’s more unannounced stuff left in the Chinese company’s kitty.
It has been learnt that one of the two devices, i.e., the Mi Pad 2, will indeed launch later this year and not anytime after, which should be good news for folks looking for a decent budget tablet.
It was learnt earlier this week that Xiaomi will also be launching their very own laptop in the first half of 2016. Xiaomi will want to give their Mi Pad some time on the market before moving on to the laptop.
With other Chinese companies like LeTV, OnePlus knocking Xiaomi’s door, the company will want to release their pending products before it’s too late, and they shall do that with the Mi Pad 2 (and hopefully with the Mi 5 as well).
