Leaked images of the Nexus 6P, aka the Huawei Nexus, have been posted online revealing detailed specifications for the phone. Take a look and let us know what you think.
We have only 1 day to wait until Google officially launch the new range of Nexus phones (at least that’s what many of expect Google to announced on the 29th September), so if you are trying to avoid spoilers look away now. If like me you want the latest details right now keep reading!
Obviously these details are unconfirmed at this stage and we have no way of verifying them to be genuine or not (well expect for waiting until tomorrow), but what is written on the Huawei Nexus 6P slide does line-up with rumours we have read in the past.
Gizchina News of the week
Specifications for the first Chinese Google Nexus phone will include a 5.7-inch WQHD display with Gorilla Glass protection. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset will run Android 6 (a version 2.1 model of the SoC), and decent size 3450Ah battery should allow for good all day usage.
The slide also reveals that the 178g Huawei Nexus will be the first Google Nexus smartphone to boast a metal unibody design with the promise of being ‘slim and sophisticated’.
The Huawei Nexus 6P will also boasts fast charging, USB Type C, a rear fingerprint scanner, and dual front speakers!
I’m pretty excited to see if these are the final Huawei Nexus specifications. What do you think and how much are you willing to pay for the first Chinese Nexus device?
The 6P is too big for me so I’m waiting for the 5X details. I’m curious if it will have wireless charging and NFC though but I highly doubt it since it’s a full metal body. Not sure how Google wants to promote Android Pay if their own phones don’t support it.
what is metal body has to do with wireless charging and NFC? Dude, first, it works fine for both features you mentioned. And yeah, secondly, it’s stupid not to mentioned Android Pay on their latest smartphone.
Where the hell, do you get the idea that it won’t include NFC and wireless charging?
This recent article from Qualcomm gave me the idea: https://www.qualcomm.com/news/releases/2015/07/28/qualcomm-becomes-first-company-enable-wireless-charging-mobile-devices but I guess it’s about some other type of wireless charging. Now that I think of it the S6 has wireless charging and a metal body so I guess I stand corrected.
I think that there was NFC connectivity in Huawei Mate 7 & Mate S, both have metallic build and back casing. My sister has a Honor 7 with 16 gb ROM lacking NFC, 64 gb version or the 128 gb (was there one?) had the NFC. No wireless charging with those 3 phones though.
I think this site is severely lacking in actual, you know, content.
specs are good but design uninspiring, since top and bottom bezel need to be smaller
design is terrible.after that spec does not matter
seems like to keep the phone slim, they’ve decided to roll it over with a rolling pin.
479€ for those specs. No thanks!
