Real photos of the Bluboo Xtouch, plus details of 2 Xtouch models

It can get quite tiring seeing all of these ‘coming soon’ news stories, but when there is some actual solid evidence a phone is on the way, like these Bluboo Xtouch photos, it’s not easy to pass up on.

The Bluboo Xtouch was teased a few months back with high-end specifications like 4GB RAM, 64GB memory and 20.7 mega-pixel main camera. Further news points out that those specs actually refer to the Bluboo Xtouch Pro (X500 Pro) and there will also be a more affordable model hardware to meet a lower price point called simply the Xtouch (X500).

Both the Bluboo Xtouch Pro and XTouch will have the same 5-inch FHD panel from JDI, with 2.5D glass curve on the front and a 3D shaped back cover on the rear. They both also get a 3050Ah battery and front facing fingerprint scanner but internally the rest of the specifications are very different.

The more affordable Bluboo X500 will get a Medaitek MT6752 chipset, 3GB LCDDR4 RAM, 16GB eMMC5.0 storage, 5 mega-pixel front camera, and 13 mega-pixel Sony IMX214 main camera.

Further up the range is the Bluboo Xtouch Pro with a Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 8 mega-pixel front camera and 20.7 mega-pixel main camera.

Bluboo have confirmed that they plan to launch the basic XTouch (X500) in October, however those of you who wanting for the XTouch Pro are in for an unspecified wait. Pricing hasn’t been revealed at this point either, but spy photos of the phone have been shared with us, take a look at let us know what you think.

If the Bluboo Xtouch Pro, is priced around 200$ it for sure would be very interesting, but i doubt it since it has 4gb ram, 64gb, and the camera. Most likely it would be something like 350$ or something like that because of the hardware.

  not giving my money to big brands as i cannot make use of warranties or similar because i live on an island so mailing back my phone is a no go for me, dont get me wrong i loved the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus+ the moment i laid eyes on it, but the price became my enemy. a 64gb version with minus $300 price tag would make me try to make peace with it though.

I don’t know, for such many delays and not answering details, PRO version still delayed – Bluboo looks for me not so reliable company. Some why they struggle with this release.

I am looking forward to the XTouch itself If it does indeed come out with the 6752, it should be a great performer.. As it basically has the same specs as the Ulefone Be Touch 2, hopefully it won’t by anymore expensive.

Too late Bluboo. I already ordered my phone and this will not be enough to convince me to get a new one.
My next phone will probably be a Helio X20 model with Android 6.0. I’m really interested in Chinese manufacturers how long it will take them to release Android 6 and who will be the first one.

  Huaweii will be the first with access Android 6 thanks to their partnership with the Nexus line. Whether they actually release an EMUI based off of it is another story.

    HTC will roll Android 6 updates at the end of December also. HTC is always one of the first getting new version.
    This year they’ve skiped 5.0.2 and 5.1 versions rolling to older phones (M8, M8s, D820, D818) so they can bring now 6.0

it’s been a while when they came with this phone and specs…….I only believe in a hands on video to prove because it can we a plastic cover model also.
i don’t believe bluboo anymore…. maybe it’s the xfire plus in these pics

I fancy those looks!!! reminds me of the ZUK Z1 but more toned down to my taste os colors and shapes hope the X500 PRO wont brake the bank being over $250…. fingers crossed. i ordered a ELE P7000 seller delayed the shippent for too long so i canceled the order. Now i am waiting patiently for something like the Zuk-z1 or vowney or this x500Pro or the Blu Pure XL wich ever has a 3g 850mhz band as thats the one i need. 4g still not the most reliable thing where i live…. you think i should have waited for the p7000? (currently on a Ecoo e04 3gb, which i forgot to check that had no 850mhz band for 3g)

    camera is ok, not a great deal, but ok so maybe rear “16mpx” interpolated from 8mpx front 8mpx came from a 3 or 2mpx, other than that it has been an excellent phone (i’ve bougth 3, for dad and sister also) so is very good, but dont run for it if you are looking for GREAT PICTURES, Games run perfet it wont lag wifi and other spec work with out problem fingerprint reader is also very fast and so is battery is good for a full day of normal use and 2 days of ligth use. maybe 5 hours if playing modern combat or ganstar vegas… camera will work very nice on occasion as clear sunny days will give pictures as good as sonys and iphones and galaxies dark rooms and similar its not to good.

    The Ecoo 04 has a 13mp OV unit (can’t remember exact model) interpolated to 16mp. The interpolation isn’t great and probably would have been better left as was. Seen some recent examples from later 3gb model that showed improvement so updates might have improved things. 2gb version got left behind.

  Zuk z1 is a very nice phone, according to the review of italian gizchina it really doesn’t miss a thing plus it has an infinite battery… The blu pure xl is a re-branded gionee elife e8, so you know what you’d buy: top notch quality phone with nice software, once you get rid of tons of bloatware… Bluboo is still not that reliable, i think: i was following the x550 and it has some hardware problem, although i appreciate they clearly admitted it…. and for god’s sake… Just stay away from elephone! xD

        More durable than what? I don’t have any durability issues with normal USB. As long as you use good quality cables you shouldn’t have any issues.

        Advantage? Maybe. BIG advantage, definitely not. It’s an aesthetic/convenience difference, it offers nothing tangible. I have USB cables that came with phones that I still use with no issues, like the one that came with my original Nexus 7 in 2012.

        Yes, it’s more convenient, isn’t that what we are looking for? We could also use phones with resistive instead of capacitive touchscreens, they also work, but are not so convenient to use.
        So at least for me, its a big advantage to know, I never have to check directions of the plug anymore, it simply works both ways…

        I don’t think I have ever taken more than 3 seconds to plug my phone in. For me I wouldn’t pass up on a great phone over 3 seconds.

        I agree with balcobomber on this one, it has never been an inconvenience for me personally to use a phone without a USB type C port, sure it’s an advantage but not a make or break selling point for me personally.

    where from do you have those specs as there are no official ones…
    it is not supposed to be usb-c as no one ever mentioned it. on the first renders it didn’t even have the round cutout, but the normal micro usb one.
    as Andi said (i suppose they have some real informations from BluBoo) the “Basic”‘s SoC is a MT6752 and not a MT6753 as you said and the storage is 16GB instead of your 32GB.
    i would love for it to have a bigger storage but i fear it won’t be like that. although i really hope for a possibility to expand it. 🙂

Looks nice (would be better at 5.5 inches tho) and the specs are excellent but how is the software/support with Bluboo? Is it a phone that will be abandoned a month after release? I have little experience with Bluboo.

  I was following the x550 (i want a battery phone with fair spec at ridiculous price), and they’ve kept updating it for a while now, but some models have construction problems… I appreciate they admitted it, but actually i wouldn’t risk many money on their phones, knowing it’s still a bet… I still think they’re improving and maybe someday they could be a nice choice, but for me they’re not there yet

first of all: I TOLD YOU SO! 😀 it’s nearly exactly like i’ve foreseen the “normal” one!
good to see it having a mt6752 instead of the mt6753 that’s used in all the phones right now.
second: finally news and real pictures of this gem! and then the best news: release in oktober? O.O i’m so getting this phone. if the price is right i might even consider the pro one. just one thing… there was no mention of a sd-slot, like in the previous posts!
oh god, gimme that damn phone already! i want it so bad!!! i’m getting crazy…

Before buying a bluboo xtouch read this first.
I brought one of these and after 1 month of use i recommended it to my family.
3 more were purchased so we had a total of 4.
Brought 2 protective cases that bluboo sell. These are useless as the corners break off where the phone is gripped.
Out of all 4 phones purchased they have all given up the ghost from between 4 and 6 months use.
They all seem to overheat when charging.
On one of them the battery swelled up after 3 months use. It was then dropped and the top right hand corner chipped and put a crack across the screen.
Whatever you do do not believe any of the drop tests you see and the gorilla glass 3 marketing. They scratch and break easily. None of the you tube videos show the phone dropping without the camera angle changing or phone going out of view before the closeup. They obviously swap the phone.
This is no Lie. Three phones were dropped at some point and all broke at the same place. Top right corner causing crack screen. Obviously a design fault.
The final phone screen stopped being responsive slightly on the right hand side.
Also one of the cameras on two of the phones was milky with no definition..
All phones were purchased from different bluboo phone suppliers
These phones are being made with cheap parts put together by different factories without any quality control.
Please, whatever you do do not waste your cash on these inferior products, even if the specs look to good to be true for the price.
I am not a phone seller or work for any phone company. These are our experiences.
WE have now all now moved back to uk based phone suppliers for our phones with the warranty to go with it.
