The Oukitel K4000 has already come alive for pre-order two weeks ago, but Oukitel continues to remind consumers that its smartphone is durable. The latest drop test shows that the Oukitel K4000 will withstand even the harshest of conditions. The latest drop test has the K4000 dropped from pocket height, head height, and above-head height.
In the first drop test (pocket-height), the Oukitel K4000 falls to the ground and doesn’t gain a scratch. When dropping the smartphone at head height, the back cover detaches and the removable battery flies out of the phone but the phone still works after the battery is reinserted. As for the above-head height, the Oukitel K4000 doesn’t come apart at all (the back cover doesn’t fly off), and the device maintains its scratch-proof claim.
The Oukitel K4000 has provided a series of tests to show how durable it is, and it still holds true here. The display remains as durable as the hammer and nails test from some days ago, although some may need to adjust to the idea of the battery and back cover detaching from the phone if dropping it 5-6 feet above the ground. All in all, this $120 phone is worth the price for its durability and good battery life, although, as always, other factors such as the camera, picture quality, software, and overall performance matter, too. We’re looking forward to seeing more performance videos on the Oukitel K4000.
