HOMTOM HT5 won’t break the screen – or your heart

Shatter-resistant displays are growing in popularity as consumers expect more from their smartphones. The HOMTOM HT5 comes with a 4,250mAh battery that should survive two days of light usage without a sweat. While its battery life is impressive enough, HOMTOM has one more surprise in store: the HOMTOM HT5 has a dart-resistant Gorilla Glass panel.

Alongside of its tough and durable Corning Gorilla Glass, the HOMTOM HT5 features a 5.5-inch HD display with a 1280 x 720p screen resolution, a MediaTek MT6753 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM with a 32GB microSD card slot for expandable storage, a 5MP front camera, 13MP back camera, and its stellar 4,250mAh battery with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed. The HD resolution alone should help this battery last for a good two days if not longer.

The HOMTOM HT5’s Gorilla Glass panel is not only impenetrable, but also scratchproof and wear-resistant. The HT5 is able to meet this impressive feat because of its native damage resistance that is said to be three times more damage-resistant than other screens. In the words of HOMTOM, “The HOMTOM HT5 will never leave you heart-broken because of a broken screen.” It appears that with the HOMTOM HT5, one more consumer expectation is crossed off the list of yet-to-be-met demands.

ah, so they have the extra special gorilla glass that no one else has, prepare for the inevitable video of phones being thrown at a coconut shy.
Can we not filter this marketing drivel rather than spoon feed it ad infinitum, it now forms the bulk of new posts and I fear credibility heading south.

Well at least the specs looks good. The processor is not the MT6735(P) but the decent MT6753, screen is HD which should be good enough if you care about the battery and at 4000 mAh there’s plenty of juice.

As for the sreen I suppose it also counts how you mount it. Gorilla glass itself is pretty strong, the problem is that it breaks. I suppose this could be prevented a bit by choosing to mount the screen better somehow.

      And yeah there’s the marketing.

This article reads like it was written by their marketing department. Pathetic.

Especially no one has noticed the faults. The HT5 is 5.0 Inch and has 1GB RAM, the HT6 has 5.5 Inches and 2 GB RAM….. Copy Paste superfail again?
