As expected, Lenovo has announced the Vibe P1 and P1m for the Indian market.
Both phones will be exclusively sold via the nations best-known e-commerce site, Flipkart. While the Vibe P1 is 15,999 INR ($245), the P1m is half its price at 7,999 INR ($122).
Both devices feature above average capacity batteries. While the P1 has a 5000mAh cell, the very affordable P1m comes with a 4000mAh one.
As for the rest of the specs of the phone, the Vibe P1 has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display with a Snapdragon 615 processor at its heart. With that, there is 3GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board (expandable) storage, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera and a 5 mega-pixel front camera. The Vibe P1 also supports NFC.
Moving on to the Vibe P1m, the phone is powered by the more entry-level MediaTek MT6735 that we’ve seen on a few phones reviewed at GizChina. Along with the quad-core processor, the Vibe P1m packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board expandable storage and of course, a 5-inch 1280 x 720p HD display.
The Vibe P1 will go on its first sale on 27th, i.e., Tuesday, while the Vibe P1m is scheduled for a sale on the following date.
