Right since OnePlus first came out with the One in the middle of 2014, you’ve been required to be in possession of an ‘invite’ to be able to purchase any of their phones.
This applies to the OnePlus 2 as well, which as the name suggests is OnePlus’ only second phone. These invites can be had via contests, forum activity, etc., and up until now you’d have 24 hours to claim the invite that’s sent to you.
Gizchina News of the week
OnePlus have now changed their policies and are now a lot more relaxed with the invites… not only are they being issued in a larger scale, but the time to claim OnePlus 2 invites has also been tripled to three days now.
So, if you lost out on getting a OnePlus phone due to the short nature of the invite validity, this might be a good news for you.
In other news, OnePlus is all set to announce its third phone in three days’ time on the 29th at simultaneous events across the globe.
Obviously not selling as well as they hoped, hardly surprising really.
“”we need more sales!!!, quick design something that will gives us more clients!!”” media department line: “”the number you’ve dialed is out of service rigth now”” jajajajaja

‘Invites; novelty worn off already, time for new catch phrase ….
They still use an invite system??? Epic fail from this company..
I was one of the first people to own sandstone black OPO in the UK and i still didn’t get any invites for OPT, so screw you Oneplus.
loooool
Invites are so 2014 hahaha
I actually bought a One Plus Two through a reseller about 3 months ago, used it for like a month, but really didn’t love the device the way I loved the OPO. Once the Moto X Pure became available I sold it. Haven’t really missed it at all. And I have still not received an invitation through the official system. All this time One Plus and any of their products, due to their failure on the supply chain side and being unable to manage expecations, have become a distant memory. Sorry One Plus I really loved what you were doing, but you have some major flaws to work through as a business before I ever invest in any of your products again.
