Blackview BV2000 first images, specifications and launch date

Blackview are building their own Meizu M2 rival with a launch date coming up very soon. Here are the first details of the new Blackview BV2000 plus full specifications.

After releasing their rugged Blackview BV5000 smartphone, Blackview are working on the next in the BV2000, which is a bit of a trick name and should really be BV2400. You see the BV5000 was named as such due to the large 5000mAh battery, while the BV2000 actually has a 2400mAh battery.

As you can see from the renders the phone will come in a range of bright colours with a design very similar to the most recent Meizu M2 down to the unibody design, 5-inch display and physical home button.

Hardware parameters for the BV2000 include a 1280 x 720 resolution display, Mediatek MT6735P running at 1GHz with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The phone will support FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20, and run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Blackview haven’t release the actual launch date details or pricing of the phone yet, but judging by the lower clock speed CPU, and amount of memory we expect a price tag of below $100 at launch.

It’s cheap though. I’m guessing they didn’t want to be in the same price range as the M2 as then everyone would have just went and bought the M2. It makes sense when you think about it.

Yes it is a cheap phone. It is on presale now on Gearbest, Focalprice, Geekbuying for only 75-85 $ So 1Gb of RAM is normal for this price tag.

This is the compliment for Blackview designers, They can do the same nice looking design like in M2 Mini with smaller price.

Unibody again? I hate it when you cant change the battery on a phone, I have the Blackview Zeta, and you can change the battery on that.
