JD.com are offering up to $500 in coupons plus products from only 5 cents

Two offers from the international site for JD.com could earn you up to $500 in coupons and give you big saving this coming Singles Day.

The international site for JingDong Mall, en.jd.com, are holding a couple of interesting promotional offers over the next couple of weeks. First up is a promotion that JD are calling the “Viral Coupon” promo.

Basically “Viral Coupon” is the chance for you to sign up to JD.com and earn saving coupons right away. Once signed up you can then refer your friends and family and earn up to $500 in coupon codes that you can then use to buy tech products or even clothing.

Gizchina News of the week

The second offer is a Chinese holiday that JD are trying to bring to the rest of the world. On the 11:11 each year, single Chinese celebrate being single and treat themselves to a gift. JD will hold a similar sale internationally where over 20,000 products will be offered from as little as 5 cents!

As usual all products come with free shipping, and for this offer certain items will have Free 7 day delivery meaning you get to play with your new tech right away.

One final detail, while over on the JD site checking the info for these celebrations I noticed that the Meizu M2 is on sale through the online store at a cut price of only $97.99 with the coupon code JD999! Not a had price for this 5-inch Meizu.

A few days ago the customers database was leaked from their Russian website. Their website is so buggy and insecure that anyone could see orders and addresses of other customers by changing values in the URL. A famous Russian blogger claims they offered him $50 and asked to write an article that nothing happened and the leaked database is actually fake. Also due to bugs it is sometimes impossible to place an order or coupons don’t work.
Anyway I’ve ordered 2 smartphones from them for myself and my wife before the incident and everything was fine. I could buy ZTE Blade S6 for only $80.

They offer great prices but the site is indeed buggy. I ordered a phone and recieved it but I’m not sure its worth the risk.
