I’d say that it was Xiaomi’s 10,400mAh and 5,200mAh power banks that virtually took over the power bank market, more so than its phones ever did. They still remain to be immensely popular, despite being a couple of years in the market.
But during these couple of years, people’s tastes have changed, and slim is the ‘in’ thing. Xiaomi released the 5,000mAh, 10,000mAh, and 16,000mAh versions of its power banks, which are a lot thinner than the original ones. However, these didn’t got on sale in many countries… but are starting to, finally.
Gizchina News of the week
Malaysia will be getting the 10,000mAh version of the power bank starting tomorrow. If you’re in the country, you’ll be able to purchase one here starting 29th October (i.e., tomorrow) 12PM for RM59 ($14. This comes a little more than a week since the price hike that Xiaomi products got in Malaysia.
Not much changes from the original 10,400mAh version besides form and capacity; the power bank will still have a 2A USB port and the traditional 4-LED status indicator.
Ok!?!?
