Ever wanted to head out for the day and leave your phone behind but make sure you don’t miss any calls? Oukitel hope so so are producing the Oukitel A29 watch with call support.
The Oukitel A29 smartwatch ticks all the usual boxes when it comes to the recent crop of wearables. It comes with a sapphire glass touch display (240 x 240 resolution) Mediatek MT2502C CPU, 128MB memory and 64GB RAM. It can also perform the usual notification and sports/heart rate monitoring duties too when paired to an Android or iOS device.

The final trick the A29 offers though is GSM phone call support, that is making calls on the watch itself via internal SIM cards, not though a connected smartphone.
We’re not sure what the A29 is going to sell at but it does come with a stainless steel body and leather strap so you won’t feel sill when out at the country-club.
There are already a ton of wearable on the market from China, but we are still waiting for a standout device that brings something new to the market, What features would make you pick up a Chinese smartwatch?
I want GPS more than anything else and something of and OS but Android seems to need to many resources and uses too much power.
I just want GPS and something where I can have apps, maybe even 3G … E-ink would also be great.

At least 72h battery life, with notifications, time and alarms and (a few) eventual calls. Even so, I would find it annoying to charge that much my watch. Yeah, make the display eInk (color?) and try to get full week (7 days!) usage.
