OPPO’s Neo 7 went official earlier this week, and a confirmation from the Malaysian wing of the company means that the phone will be available in the country starting next week.
The Neo 7 will be available November 3rd onwards. If you don’t remember, the Neo 7 is an upgraded Neo 5, but OPPO continues to focus on the design with this device. The phone has a 5-inch 960 x 540p qHD (which is something you don’t get to see too often these days, even on very basic mid-range phones) screen with a Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage with a microSD slot to keep you going once you run out of the provided space.
The cameras aren’t high on resolution, but should be OK or probably better than other cameras with similar specs; an 8 mega-pixel rear and a 5 mega-pixel front facing sensor sit on the pretty chassis.
The Neo 7 can be yours for RM798 or $185, which isn’t the most attractive pricing for a Snapdragon 410 phone.
