The past 5 days have been some of the most happening ones as far as the Chinese smartphone industry is concerned. Not only did we see a few regular launches from the mainstream makers, but arguably more importantly, saw some interesting couple launches.
These include the new design-centric OnePlus X, along with the super impressive superphone from Letv — the Letv Le 1s.
Here’s the most important bits from the past week, all in one place!
This week on GizChina — 10/31/2015
1. Letv Le 1s announced with killer spec for under $200
If the first-gen Letv ‘super phones’ didn’t impress you enough, say hello to the Letv Le 1s which is a $170 phone with the 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10, a fingerprint sensor, 3GB RAM, and other flagship-grade specifications.
2. ZUK Z1 review
Everyone’s doing sub-brand these days, and ZUK is Lenovo’s attempt at that. The Z1 is the first phone from ZUK, and with a large battery paired with mildly powerful internals, the ZUK Z1 makes for an interesting phone.

3. OnePlus X announced for $250
The OnePlus X was finally announced a couple of days back with an impressive design and a couple different variants in an Onyx and a Ceramic one.

4. A $37 iPhone 6s clone appears
It’s been a while since a clone managed to grab headlines on GizChina (which is a great thing, shows manufacturers are making original phones). But this $37 phone certainly demands your attention for a bit!
5. Meizu MX5 gets Flyme 5.0
The Meizu MX5 is regarded as a very potent hardware device, but one that lacked sheen on the software front. But that’s changed now since the Flyme 5.0 update that the phone received earlier this week.
Sorry sir can you repeat that, I only heard LeTV Le 1s. 😉
Did you? This week i mostly heard about doogee’s unmatched quality smartphones! õ.õ
Ohhh the joy of sarcasm. On that note I had a rather good DG550 and it bent a little, barely noticeable. I believe they where on good track with that phone but they are yet to bring out a flagship spec’s phone at a budget and them improve quality. Oh who am I kidding, is doogee!!!, for crying out loud.
What I would really enjoy is an unbiased review of the Bluboo Xtouch, as GIZCHINA has had 12 news of this device alone not to mention mixed with other Booboo products. I believe it would be fair if you guys tried to get one and make a short review or a long one as by my perception it is going to be a great selling device so people have some idea of what they will be buying. (On paper to me its directly aiming at the leagoo elite p1?, but with some more bands and better pricing and better looks and and and… that’s is just me)
