After long delays Huawei are finally on track to launch the Huawei Mate 8 at a launch event in China on November 26.
Huawei have had an amazing year, with some of the most anticipated phone launches and growth which has seen the brand overtake Xiaomi in their home market. Some of the more notable Huawei phones this year have been the Huawei Mate S and the Huawei Nexus, but has the best been saved till last?
The Huawei Mate 8 is a phone that has been whispered about fairly frequently. The device should already really be on sale, but the company wanted to use their latest Kirin 950 chipset in the flagship so pushed the launch back. The Kirin 950 is tipped to be one of the most powerful processors on the market running at 2.4Ghz with Mali-T880 GPU, and will go head to head with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
Mate 8 details are still under wraps but secrets have been leaking, and specification details are believed to induced a 2.5D Force Touch display, options for 3-4GB RAM and 32-64GB memory, 8 mega-pixel front camera and 20 mega-pixel rear.
Chances are we will also see a rear fingerprint scanner, laser focus and an all metal unibody design too. More details are sure to be released in the run up to the November 26 launch date.
