Huawei Mate 8 leaked photos appears just after launch teaser

huawei mate 8 leak

For those of you waiting for the first leaks of the Huawei Mate 8 after this morning launch teaser then you didn’t need to wait too long.

Huawei teased that an event will take place on the 26th November, the date is likely when we will see the Huawei Mate 8, the first Huawei device to ship with the powerful new Kirin 950 chipset, launched.

As we posted earlier, specifications of this phone include a 20 mega-pixel rear camera, force touch display, etc and we also speculated that a rear fingerprint scanner (similar to the Mate 7) would be part of the package too. Our hunch has been confirmed (at least in leaked photo format) with the above image.

Gizchina News of the week

Sources in China claim the image shows the rear of the Huawei Mate 8 with the rear shell of the phone removed. As you can see there is no place to slot a SIM or SD card in the rear and the battery is hidden below plastic cladding suggesting that an all alloy unibody will be the final design of the Mate 8.

We can also see a dual LED flash and rear camera sensor design which features a thick border and has a smaller fingerprint sensor located directly beneath. It also seems to show a lack of laser auto-focus on the phone a feature other flagships have been shipping with lately.

This leak is likely just the tip of the ice-burg and more teasers and details are sure to be released ahead of launch. Keep posted for more news.

once again beautiful phones which i won’t considering buying until they give a chance to install a custom Rom or Stock Android.

I don’t know why but I’ve always despised stock Android. Before I discovered Chinese phones, I was leaning towards the dark side (Apple).

I’m not a fan either, but you can “fix” it easier than a Chinese Rom.

            You?
            The dark side?
            Get out of here!

I love iPhones (not their prices though) but i could never deal with the nonsense of iOS.

            can’t do this, can’t do that, synchronize…bullshit!

I’m a Linux person, the sky is the limit. 😉

I’ve been a linux person since high school but I grew so tired of just plain Android and was looking for anything that looked different. This was very early in my smartphone days before I knew a lot about custom ROMs.

i care enough for the Roms to get me acces to my applications and not interfere but keep my background picture, thats as much as i like Roms (i.e. give me nova launcher and beat it)

so do you also replace every system app? (camera, video, gallery, music, settings…)

From the picture is looks like the camera/fingerprint sensor is below the plastic cladding suggesting that this has some plastic case on top of the phone to obscure the finish of the rear and not the other way round. Can’t wait to see what the Kirin 950 is capable of.

i tough the same, i think there is a protective cover as there is no point of it having a removable back is not access to either battery, sims or sd-cards.
