Cube i7 Stylus (4GB RAM, Intel Core M) now on sale for $327

1438910013521-P-2920599Cube has had a rather interesting 2015 so far. We’ve seen a few versions of the successful Cube i7 tablet, including the i7 Remix (review soon). You might also have read about the i7 Stylus on GizChina sometime back.

The tablet is now on sale for $327. What makes the tablet interesting is its compatibility with Wacom’s pressure sensitive stylus, effectively a force touch alternative. The tablet itself has a 10.60-inch 1920 x 1080p display, and is powered by an Intel Core M processor running at 1.5GHz. Along with that, there’s 4GB of RAM, 64GB of on-board storage, an Intel HD Graphics 5300 GPU, 5 mega-pixel rear camera and a 2 mega-pixel front facing camera.

The Cube i7 Stylus has a fanless design and largely shares its exteriors with the i7 Remix. A 4500mAh battery 9000mAh (4500mAh x 2) supplies juice to the internals aforementioned, while the Windows 10 OS takes care of it all.

The USP of this tablet clearly is the Wacom stylus support, which is unfortunately sold as an extra. The tablet itself is $327, and comes in Gray and Blue.

    Poor battery.

Yep, for some reason the Chinese tablet makers seem to be ignoring battery spec these days.

EDIT: It is a 4500 x2 as Colin stated. Updated the article.

Obvious typo. 450 mAh would’t las 30 minutes.

    The battery is actually 9000mAh (2 x 4500 batteries)

No problem. 4500 would be a bit concerning! Waiting for the 11.11 sales on this device.

I’ll have a look at it, good idea to wait for 11.11, thx Colin!

If only I could install (easily) Ubuntu on it…

Been looking at this a while, only wish they would do a dual boot core m tablet. At the moment the cherry trail tabs still look more promising, but hard to justify paying the same price for half the power!

I would install android on it and use it instead of the buggy pipo p1 I have. If only the resolution was higher and there was 5Ghz band ac Wifi.

C’mon guys. Just do not comaper it with a 2GB RAM / Z3736 and EMMC storage based tablet. It has Core M CPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB SSD plus the Wacon Stylus support. It is a very good device for the price.
