Undoubtedly one of the fears that mostly haunt us while holding our smartphones in the hand, is the consequences that it can suffer in a fall. After all accidents can happen, no matter how careful you are, one second of distraction and you can get a broken screen.
This fact, over the years made manycompaniesbet onways toimprove the strengthof theirhandsets, or at least minimize the damage caused by a sudden drop or other types of accidents. But you still can’t let your phone fall, accidentally or not… right? Well Oukitel wants to show that is no problem at all in an extreme test.
In a new attempt of showing the toughness of their devices, the battery monster Oukitel K6000 is put to an extreme test with an angle grinder on the phone’s border until cutting in to the display. During the test we can see that even the display gets partially damaged by the grinding disk yet survives and keeps recognizing touches.
The torture continues with the battery becoming pierced and the phone smoking. Although this is definitely not the smartest test for a phone (really, don’t try this at home), Oukitel wants to show that the Battery actually will not explode no matter the punishment. Still I wouldn’t want to risk this and I certainly wouldn’t pick the remains up afterwards!
The Oukitel K6000 is the mid range phone from the K range, that starts from Oukitel K4000 with 4000mAh battery all the way up to the Oukitel K10000 with huge 10,000mAh battery.
