Xiaomi has reduced pricing for the Xiaomi Redmi 2A 2GB RAM edition in China, bringing it down to the price of the ‘regular’ 1GB RAM variant.
The reduced pricing will apply to 2GB RAM Redmi 2A bought starting November 11th, also known as 11.11 or ‘singles’ day’ in China. The 2GB RAM Redmi 2A has double the RAM and ROM of the standard version in 2GB/16GB; after the price cut, both devices will be 499 Yuan i.e., $78. It won’t be hard to pick one among the two I’m guessing.
Gizchina News of the week
The Redmi 2A has a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720p display, a LeadcoreΒ L1860C 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1/2GB RAM, 8/16GB ROM, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, 2 mega-pixel front facing camera and a 2200mAh battery.
If you’re outside of China, the benefits will hardly be passed on to you. In either case, resellers should give the phone a bit of a price cut, in case you’re eyeing a Redmi 2A 2GB RAM this season.
