Elephone now available in Egypt

Elephone’s global expansion continues with the companies first steps in to the Egyptian market.

Chinese phone lovers in Egypt will now be able to buy Elephone devices though MVTC Emerging Technologies. The agent will provide online, offline and after sales service to all customers in the Middle East as well as selling Elephone phones through their authorised store.

Elephone phones are already being promoted in the country, and it is expected that the latest phone models will be on sale around the Middle East along with other ELE gadgets.

Instead of trying to conquer the world, they should spend the time and resources to perfect their devices and software. They are close to having good devices but still far enough away that expansion is just going to create more problems. There’s a reason companies like Xiaomi and Vivo are only officially sold in a handful of countries. They spent all their resources in the beginning on coming out with excellent devices. Now that they are established they can expand and its even easier for them because they already have a good reputation.
I have worked with so many companies in Asia that tried to expand too quickly without having a great product, great consumer fan base or great support. The results were often disastrous, especially for consumers.

  I think maybe they planthat some emerging markets are clueless to innovations and thus, more prone to be AMAZED by their flashy products. even if you complain guys, its always better to have a phisical place to go and get your stuff repaired if you don’t live in china or the us or up-scale europe.

    I have dealt with both physical places and mailing it away and the service really isnt that much different. Just recently I sent a phone back to China to fix a display issue, door to door it took a little less than 2 weeks and didn’t cost me a thing. We took my GF’s Galaxy S6 to the local Samsung repair center for a similar issue, it took 10 days to get the phone back and we had to pay for parts. Even some of those “local” repair shops are nothing more than a store front that ships your phone to a larger repair center.
