OnePlus have finally announce when they’re going to ship Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates for their first two phones — the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2.
Both phones run OxygenOS based on Android Lollipop for now. OnePlus had been quiet for a while about the Marshmallow updates for these phones, but have finally spoken out today.
According to the company, both, the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2, will get the much-anticipated Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates in Q1 2016. The update will also bring the update will include the new standard Marshmallow API for the fingerprint sensor for the OnePlus 2.

I’m pretty sure buyers would’ve liked a more specific timeline, but hard luck for now. That said, the maximum you have to wait for the update is four months, which in no way is a little duration but you at least know about the extremes.
OnePlus also say that they’re working on a Marshmallow update for the OnePlus X, but there’s no timeframe provided yet.
