If you’re in the US or Canada, news is that you’ll now be able to order yourself a OnePlus X. Of course, you’ll need an invite to be able to do that.
While there’s no official word on this as yet, it does appear that getting hold of an invite for the OnePlus X is a tad easier than how it was for the OnePlus One, and the 2 up to an extent.
Gizchina News of the week
Only the Onyx version of the phone will sell in these countries, so if you’re wishing for some Ceramic love, you’ll have to find out means of importing the phone from Europe/India.
In our review of the OnePlus X, we found the phone to be a really beautiful device but with a few shortcomings. If you don’t mind a mid-range phone though, the OnePlus X could make for a decent choice.
i doubt this is going to sell at all due to lack of LTE Band17 (main band of AT&T) and Band12 for T-Mobile (soon their main band).
That’s really the only shot for Chinese phones to sell in the US, they have to suppport the LTE bands for people looking for unlocked phones. Especially for Tmobile, I pay $30 a month for unlimited data (5GB of LTE the rest 3G+) and texts, it’s only 100 minutes talk but thats easy to get around with unlimited data. That is my number one complaint with the MX5 and the only reason I am looking for a new phone. If the MX5 supported Band 12 or Band 17 it would be perfect for me for the next year.
unfortunately i feel this is not going to happen anytime soon.
right now there’s only some Huawei devices and BLU (never heard of them, did you? 🙂 ) or Alcatel
like the PURE XL…. AKA GIONEE ELIFE E8…. ITS SELLING A LOT mostly due to coverage of such 17 (not the 12 band touugh) GREAT storage 64gb+Micro-SD and you know is almost half price at 349 through amazon…
Lol that was sarcasm from both of us because I am one of Blu/Gionee’s biggest supporters.
