Ulefone have announced the details of they ‘updated’ Be Pro 2, but the specs don’t really seem much of an update to us.
Ulefone have made some strange announcements recently. For example the Be Touch 3 was announced as an update over the Be Touch 2, but when you look at the hardware there the new ‘updated’ phone actually has a lower spec processor and smaller battery.
In a similar move Ulefone have announced details of the Be Pro 2. This phone will launch as a replacement to the original Be Pro that went on sale at the start of the year and will have similar specs to the original but an switch to a Mediatek MT6735 chipset.
Gizchina News of the week
Pricing has crept down to $120, which gets you a 5.5-inch HD display, 2600mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, and 5 mega-pixel front, plus a stock Android 5.1 installation.
Overall the specs don’t look like much of an improvement when compared to the original, and looking at recent phones like the UMi Rome, the hardware seems a little under par at the price. What do you guys think?
Let’s see if now they have made a decent Job, cause while the first Be Pro had ‘good’ specs on paper, it was a junk in build quality.
