If cheap Chinese wearables are your thing then the Bluboo uWatch could be the Black Friday deal to keep an eye on.

Bluboo say the the uWatch will go on pre-order this week and that they are woking with Gearbest to offer the smartwatch for a special intro price in time for Black Friday. We haven’t been made privee to the price of the watch but full specifications have been revealed to us.

The budget wearable will come with a 350mAh battery good for 72 hours of use with the lower power 1.44-inch 2.3D display. Power is saved further with low energy Bluetooth connection to Android phones, and charging is through a simple USB plug.

Gizchina News of the week

Bluboo say that the watch is resistant enough to water and dust when washing your hands, doing the dishes and general day to day usage. A stainless steel case houses all the tech while a simple strap attaches the wearable to your wrist.

Pricing details of the Bluboo uWatch will be announced this week, so keep posted for more updates.

Screen resolution is probably 128×128, and the bezels are much larger than in the render

There was really no way for it to have Android Wear at $50…. those start at $80 or something.

Well I thought it was too good to be true, but the idea was proposed, gearbest had it on their website as android wear, would of been epic.

Yes I know it was the same for me but never forget that saying: “When it’s too good to be true … ” 😀
Anyway I was one of the first backers of Blocks so I’m expecting that in the spring and won’t need anything after that.
I’ll get Mi Band to get call notifications while on silent though.

I was wondering if that iradish is any good, sure has a funny name 😀
Well you could get a Blocks…. it’s not cheap though but I certainly expect it to be good quality and it’s customizable.

Wow your not kidding about it not being cheap, wife would knock my block off if I paid that. For £15 its a good watch, I don’t get the names of any of these Chinese devices but they make me laugh at least!

I meant it’s expensive, yes but I don’t have a wife yet so I can afford it :D. I paid $50 a year ago or something and now $215 for which I get the watch and 4 modules …. Till may 2016 I’ll just get a Mi Band though, should be fine for call notification.
If you want cheaper I recommend waiting a bit… Android watches from China should drop below $50 next year. There’s still room for their prices to drop but the demand is not at the same level as it is for the smartphones so things move slower.
