Many feel that the Mi Band is one of the most practical wearable devices available. IDC’s data agrees, and also reveals that the wearable is the world’s third most popular.
The Mi Band posted an impressive 815.4% Year-over-Year growth according to IDC’s data for Q3 2015.
A reason behind the high volume of shipments, besides the fact that the Mi Band works as advertised, is that it is also one of the most affordable wearable devices you can buy right now.
Gizchina News of the week
The Mi Band will track your fitness and sleep… and a recent app update means you can also use it to monitor your notifications. Not just that, the Mi Band 1s Pulse also bundles a hear-rate sensor, which makes it quite a package for a $15 device (in China).
As seen from the table above, the Xiaomi wearable sits third in the list after FitBit and Apple’s respective products.
