InFocus is a US based company that tends to make rounds here at GizChina. The last time we heard of them, they were releasing the ludicrously affordable InFocus M810 with a flagship worthy specs. Now they’re making the news again by launching the InFocus M680 in India, and it’s looking like another winner.
The M680 is powered by the MTK6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, as well as expandable storage of up to 64GB. It comes equipped with 13MP Samsung SK3M2 shooters on the back and front of the device, a single flash on the rear and a 2600mAh battery.
The front of the device is dominated by the 5.5-inch 1920×1080 FHD tempered glass display, along with the usual array of sensors. The metal chassis is quite thin at 7.2mm, weighs 158g and other features include dual sim slots, though it is a hybrid slot which is slightly disappointing.
The device will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop, but InFocus have promised to update the phone to Marshmallow in the coming weeks. It’ll be sold exclusively on Snapdeal India for Rs 10,999, or $163, on the 21st of December. The first 2000 buyers will even get a selfie stick worth Rs 1,000. What do you think about the InFocus M680? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
Way better than that crappy Redmi Note Prime launched recently. A worthy buy, but in a competitive segment with some interesting options from other companies.
Might be U.S. based, but no U.S. 4G support. What am I missing?
See my above comment.
While InFocus is a US brand, these phones are actually Foxconn, they license the name from InFocus and these phones are meant for the Asian markets.
Got it
Just look at that top front logo…..
