Ever since we got a taste of the Helio X10 with the Letv Le 1, we’ve been mighty impressed with what this SoC can achieve… at times, without making the phone around it too expensive.
The newest phone to have the MediaTek SoC is HTC’s One X9.
While the phone in itself doesn’t sound like the most exciting device around (which has been the case with most HTC’s this year), what’s interesting is that it could come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow… which if I’m not wrong, will make the One X9 the first Helio X10 phone to have that iteration of Android.

As for the rest of the phone, it has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, UltraPixel front camera, 3GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage… and a 3000mAh battery.
The One X9 is 2399 Yuan ($370) in China, and therefore among the more expensive Helio X10 phones around (it also lacks a fingerprint sensor). But if not design, HTC are expected to deliver a performance better than most other (smaller) companies with regards to software running on the One X9.
Not really as they’ve already released a few iterations with this chipset. Also I’m guessing we’re at least 3-4 months away from seeing an X20 phone so what else could they really use that would give good performance at a reasonable cost?
as Rob said, i’ve seen more than 4 devices all from HTC running X10 it seems they like the profit ratio it leaves them without having to fork it to Qualcomm.
It is a safe phone, but not an exciting one.
