Official specs of the 6050mAh Ulefone Power with 75 day stand by

Here are the first official full specifications of the large capacity Ulefone Power phone. Does the latest Ulefone have what it takes to go up against other large battery phones?

Featuring a 6050mAh battery, the 5.5-inch Ulefone Power has been officially revealed today with a retail price of $209.99, with the hope that it will become the main rival to the $390 Gionee M5 Plus smartphone.

Ulefone Power Specifications

The obvious major highlight of the phone is the Sony 6050mAh Li-Polymer battery which offers a claimed 4 days of light use, and boasts fast charging technology. Mediated Pump Express Plus allows the phone to be completely charged in only 2 hours and 5-minutes.

Ulefone are stating that the fast charge tech in the Ulefone Power will allow a 5 minute charge to give the user 2 hours of talk time, and just a 30 minute charge can give you up to a day of light use.

Despite a large battery the Ulefone Power isn’t the thickest or heaviest phone we have seen this year, with official specs telling of a 9.5mm body and 190g weight. Ulefone say that a curved display and rounded body actually help make the phone feel even thinner once in the hand, which we can imagine being accurate after having owned the equally thick IUNI U3.

Speaking of the display the panel is a 5.5-inch model with 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution, 2.5D curve and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Beneath the display is a slim bezel and simple ‘Halo’ home button, with the face coming in either black or white colour options.

The rear of the phones feature a fingerprint scanner, 13 mega-pixel Sony IMX214 main camera with impressive F1.8 aperture. The panel gets either a blue, silver white or wooden finish.

Under the hood Ulefone have gone for a built-in battery design, 3GB RAM Mediatek MT6753 chipset, and Android 5.1 out of the box with a promised upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow coming in the following months.

Other interesting features that are often overlooked are the inclusion of an FM radio, IR remote, Hotknot and OTG for powering other USB devices.

Ulefone have listed the full Ulefone Power specifications over on their website here, and resellers are likely to start listing the phone before the New Year.

I’ve been waiting to see this actually announced for months now (as I’ve always said, i’d want a big ass battery phone with decent specs) and it fits the requirements quite well…
As usual, i need to see how it actually performs before even think of buying it… Let’s wait a little longer…

ulefone has got the point. they didn’t make a big battery for nothing, instead, they made a phone with good specs, good extra functions, and big battery. and they have give importance to design. some other brands have made ugly big battery phones but ulefone looks good.

  Then the phone will be over 300 dollars. I will not spend 300 dollars to buy a phone. BTW, AMOLED display is not as good as IPS or LTPS when it comes to sharpness. AMOLED is energy efficient, but with 6000mAh more capacity, it’s not a big problem.

    I’ve owned IPS, AMOLED, and IGZO phones over the years, and so far my favorite is AMOLED because it’s most comfortable for me when reading in bed with the lights turned off.

      IPS has a very high contrast, black level more clearly, therefore, professionals in the field of design by using widely believed IPS hard screen LCD monitor designed to effectively reduce the error between the samples and the last produced.
      Image stabilization, touch no watermarks.
      It does not exist which is better, a matter of personal preference.

        Wrong mate! AMOLED has infinite contrast ratio and black level darker than black. No proper IPS panel can ever match that. Only thing it can deliver is accurate colour and wide viewing angle which AMOLED can also do that very well. AMOLED has came a long way and even Apple is also thinking about adopting AMOLED display from Samsung and LG. Even Hollywood is ditching IPS LED display for professional OLED panel. Latest LG and Panasonic OLED TV’s are stunning. Do a proper research OK.

Well let’s hope they actually deliver on this battery size. They made false claims on the Be Touch 2 about the battery size which still irks me to this day as its my current phone.
Also a shame they moved the finger print sensor to the back of the phone. I preferred the larger home button style on the front of the phone.

  I use Ulefone be touch 3 and my wife Ulefone paris. I don’t think they have lied with battery capacity though the battery itself is not big. My wife is very happy with paris, it’s a good phone and ulefone has released 5 updates since October, now it is close to perfect. My Be Touch 3 is fine, too, and they have release one update and one lightweight ROM. I think Ulefone is a company who really cares about users.

    Goods to see they are looking after new customers then @Bryan. However if you run independant tests on the battery itself, you will see the actual mAh value is far lower than what Ulefone advertise the phone to have. I have to charge my BT2 twice a day and I am not a heavy user. Which for a 3000 mAh battery I find very poor.

  Yes, if you can choose, I also want to choose a positive fingerprint. But now the big battery mobile phone, basically in the back of the design, I have not used a mobile phone with fingerprint, I think I would choose the next mobile phone with a fingerprint.

ulefone Power is really good configuration. Great battery must cooperate more other features. Larger capacity battery is necessary, the phone’s SOC higher and higher, the battery has not kept pace. Charger 9V / 2A, and two hours can be filled, then it is too much.

    Yes, I saw the presentation. 9.5mm thickness is very good, with respect to its battery capacity. It gives the other cell phone charger, this is a bit crazy. But the need to use the OTG cable.

God bless, they have not release a brick out. Instead the phone looks beautiful in a tough way. That’s the style i like. And happy to see they have keep the ring home button, which make the phone look clean.

If they could enable more functions on the fingerprint scanner, it would be very nice. It’s nice to use it as camera shutter when taking a selfie.

  Dont throw them into the garbage but stash them in a draw in case your phone breaks lol.

9.5 mm is, actually, thin enough for me, it the phone is sturdy as well (thinking of that Oukitel K4000). My OnePlus One (8.9 mm) is thicker with its case.
I’d definitely be in for something similar.
