This is interesting: the previously rumoured OnePlus 2 Mini has surfaced yet again but this time there’s a lot more to it.
The OnePlus 2 Mini that got peeked at this time happens to be virtually a OnePlus X lookalike… Champagne Edition, in this case.
There are more similarities between the OnePlus X and the upcoming OnePlus 2 Mini: this includes a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p AMOLED screen, microSD expansion and 3GB RAM.
What is NOT in common though, is the processor. The OnePlus X has a Snapdragon 801… but the OnePlus 2 Mini will come with a Snapdragon 810, akin to its non-mini version.
Moving on, the OnePlus 2 Mini has a 13 mega-pixel camera on the rear (without the luxury of laser autofocus unfortunately, it appears) and an 8 mega-pixel one on the front.
Gizchina News of the week
The TENAA listing that was our window for the leaks lists a white colour variant of the OnePlus 2 Mini. It should be safe to assume that it is the same as the Champagne OnePlus X.

Moving on, another phone that got listed on the same day as the OnePlus 2 Mini is the OPPO A30. Interestingly, it isn’t just the date of listing on TENAA that the OnePlus 2 Mini and the OPPO A30 share; what they also have in common is a large part of the design, the color scheme (despite the TENAA listing mentioning the A30 as Black) and the specifications set.

There have been talks about OnePlus sharing OPPO’s facilities to make their phones. In fact, many called the OnePlus One the OPPO Find 7S/Find7B (referring to the fact that the OPO shared a lot of its specs and design with the Find 7 series).
lol it’s just a version of the X with different bands and there is no SD810, instead of copying the mistakes others make, look at the source (TENAA), 4 cores at 2GHz ,same thing lower clocks.
the SD810 part is from the GFXbench leaks from a while back.
OnePlus should change their name “OneHit”… As in OneHit Wonder.
lol
Confused
Oh, c’mon… Everyone should know by now that oneplus is just a BBK’s brand like oppo (and vivo and some others perhaps), similarities are no coincidence!
i dont know why i still love oppo , but i love it , their phones feel just so good in hand , their room is very polished , and their support is great , their cameras shoot very well , but i dont like their SoC 615/616 even if everythng feels so snappy im gonna wait for the Find 9 , I want a chinese daily driver in 2016
the 615 is perfectly fine with everything, except when you need to play high demanding games
