Extending the already popular Vibe S1 range of selfie phones is Lenovo with the new Vibe S1 Lite.
Much like its elder sibling, the Vibe S1 Lite is meant for people who indulge in taking portraits of themselves… i.e., selfies.
The Vibe S1 Lite actually looks like a decent buy with the specifications it has on offer. Let’s take a look.
The phone has a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p full HD display on top of what’s inside… which includes an octa-core processor (MediaTek MT6753), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and a 2700mAh battery.
Gizchina News of the week
What makes the Vibe S1 Lite are its cameras — a 13 mega-pixel PDAF-enabled rear and an 8 mega-pixel front, both being assisted with LED flash. Furthermore, the presence of a hybrid slot in addition to a regular SIM slot makes the Vibe S1 Lite worthy of attention. What this means is that you can either use the phone as a dual SIM device or one with a single SIM and a microSD slot.
It’ll be available in White and Blue colours, both matte-finished, starting a few weeks later.
As for the price, it’s a $199 phone which does sound quite tempting for a phone from a company of Lenovo’s calibre.
