Thought it was only Xiaomi who launched a new phone today? Well think again, Qiku also had something new up their sleeve with 2K panel and dual camera design.
Qiku had already launched a couple of dual camera phones last year. Those models started from 1999 Yuan with 1080 display, fingerprint scanner and Snapdragon 808 chipset.
The phone launched today is a new flagship device and comes with the same Snapdragon 808, metal body design and dual 13 mega-pixel cameras but now boasts a large 6-inch display with 2K 2560 x 1440 resolution.

This 2K Qiku also offers a large screen to body ratio when compared to previous versions, and has more memory too (4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory).
Another change is the 3600mAh battery with 9V 2.2A fast charge support and full network support for Chinese carriers (also meaning fairly good compatibility in Europe too).

Qiku only look set to launch the device in China where it is on sale today for 2999 Yuan. If you were to chose to import the phone make sure it’s possible to install Google services on it easily before you do.
Maybe this photo is proof that modern phones are too big.
Tastes are different, but i like 4,5-4,7″.
If you wear small pants sure they are too big. I wear normal pants and can fit my 7 inch tablet in my pocket and I’m not a really big guy. It all comes down to the individual user.
I know, I also can put 7″ tablet in my pocket. And this picture is obviously small woman + shallow pocket for demonstrative purposes, but I found this picture a bit funny. 🙂
I tried on a pair of Skinny Jeans once, I got one leg in and said F this.
obviously this is a small pocket, less than half of the phone can fit, so even a 3″ phone of same width etc wouldnt fit well in this case

I think variety is important.
A nice 4 inch phone makes sense for someone like in that picture, who is clearly far less than 1.5m tall (remember that phone is only 6 inches diagonal, and it is as long as her whole forearm).
I am over 1.9m tall. I see 5″ as minimal. 8 inch tablets (which have gigantic 2010-era bezels and are 16:10 instead of 16:9, so are proportionally wider) still actually fit in my hand.
its a petite chick … nothing to do with the size of phone she likes ,
just like other things :p (IYKWIM)
Hands? Are we talking about hands??
Here I come, 6 inches?? Meh I can handle it with one hand EASYYYY 😀
That’s why I switched from 5.5″ to 5.2″. Much easier to deal with one hand now and much more comfortable in the pocket. I’m 2m tall and it was easier to type on 5.5″ though.
