Southeast Asian phones are actually designed and manufacturered by Chinese companies. I happen to know that IMI, a very popular brand in Thailand, actually employs Ulefone as ODM. That means, IMI does nothing but marketing.

I just checked the video, the screen seems quite blue-ish and brightness doesn’t seems too hight… Hope it’s just an impression, but a first-hand try is welcome, especially visibility under sunlight!

Should be for the video effect. You can see the margin of the phone, which should be white, is also a little bluish.

Probably you’re right, but I’d rather ask than keeping the doubt 🙂

I am worried about the camera positioning, if you were to drop the phone the very top postion of the camera is a worry.

On ulefone site it shows the GUI looks completly different from what you showed. Beautiful icons, beautiful background instead from what you showed in which looks the plain ugly android default icons. Its there any way to changed it to the ones that ulefone were promoting?

The only flaw Ulefone madevwas the use of MTK6753. They should imstalled thr mtk6752 in which runs at 1.5mhz plus it has the mali 760. I prefer to pay a little bit but better performance. Can you run Antutu and showed the results!? Im looking for a chinese phone which looks similar to this one ulefone with ir sensors; android 6 upgradevand better cpu like mtk6752 but not as exp nsive as the snapdragons 810. Any ideas??

It’s software optimization that matters the most. MTK6752 can be very slow if the software is laggy, while MTK6753 can be very fast with well optimized software. From Andi’s video, i see the phone is quite snappy.

The performance gap is almost no Moreover ulefone Power will be updated to Android6.0, it is a very fast system version.
