Doogee are updating a few of their phones from the cheap and cheerful Y200 and Y300 to other models like the $100 Doogee X6 Pro.
The X6 Prois already on sale now but ships with Android 5.1 running on the quad-core chipset and 2GB RAM hardware configuration.
Doogee say that Android 6 will bring an number of useful updates to the X6 Pro including new navigation, a search bar at the top of every screen, updates memory management features and better battery life from the 3000mAh battery thanks to ‘Doze’ and standby features.
It’s not clear when Doogee will roll out the update, but we hope it will be a simple case of receiving and OTA notification and hitting ‘install’.
