Gizchina News of the week
Zopo plan to launch the Speed 7C with Android 5.1 out of the box but will upgrade the system to Android 6 during March or April. Pricing will vary depending on the country.
Also next month Zopo will unveil the Zopo Speed 8 smartphone with Helio X20 chipset, more details here.
Nice to hear that our small country was chosen as one of the first where the new Zopo will be available. But the brand is quite popular here, so it makes sense. I’m very interested in the Zopo Speed 8.
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that they will offer 2 display sizes like Speed 7 has.
Czech?
Yes, that’s where I live.
Nice. Beautiful country.
Have you been here? And where are you from?
I am from the US but my work takes me all over the world. I have been to Prague a few times, to me it is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. People are all very friendly as well.
I’m glad to hear that. I was in Prague last two weekends. For icehockey match and Ennio Morricone’s concert. I live about 50 miles from Prague in Pilsen (the city where pils beer – Pilsner Urquell – was discovered).
You have to take care that nobody will try to charge you extra money if you are in Prague as a foreign tourist. Especially TAXI drivers are famous for doing that. But that is the case of many popular places unfortunately.
I’ve been traveling all over US about 10 years ago. I’ve driven from Delaware up to California and back to east coast to Florida. I really liked the nature and people.
If you by chance have another trip to Prague, we could meet there. 🙂
People working at the airport actually warned me about the Taxi scam before I left lol. But that is global problem which happens in most major cities. Is Pilsen where Skoda is based? Because I visited their headquarters their once when I was there. I was only there for a few hours but seemed like a nice city.
Yes, Skoda is in Pilsen. It is not the Skoda Car company owned by VW but the original one founded in Pilsen which produces public transportation vehicles (I think they did electrical buses for San Francisco) and parts for power plants.
It’s not a big city but I like it here. 🙂
One of my colleagues in Praque had a friend who worked at the plant there so we got a tour, and they were building buses at the time of the tour.
Looks really nice but the specs don’t seem that great, have to wait and see how much it costs.,
